Órla Ryan

Órla Ryan is an Irish journalist who works in London for the Financial Times.

She lived in Africa for more than four years, most recently in Ghana where she worked for Reuters. During that period, she received a grant from the Fund for Investigative Journalism, which helped finance the research for Chocolate Nations.

Prior to that she worked for the BBC. She has an LLB in Law and German from Cardiff University and a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Cardiff Journalism School.
